According to the specifics of the lawsuit filed, it's claimed that the massage therapist, now living in Oregon was "coerced and intimidated by Watson and Watson "move her mouth toward his penis, thereby forcing Plaintiff to perform oral sex on him. Plaintiff refused to participate in any of this behavior. Plaintiff was black for a few minutes from the fear."
The suit also details the trauma that was caused by the incident. Following the third suit , Madden NFL 23 began to act, assigning senior VP Lisa Friel as lead investigator into the incident. Friel has recently assumed similar roles for the league in the year 2019 investigating allegations against the receiver Antonio Brown. However, details of the league's "probe" of Watson were insufficient and did not specify the procedure for conducting it, or whether Watson would be banned from playing in the league pending the results of the probe. That probe is still ongoing.
Buzbee reports that more women are coming forward with stories
On March 19 Buzbee declared that another woman had contacted his office aftermath of the previous three allegations. Nine additional suits were filed adding to the total of twelve -- and the attorney noted that 22 women had contacted him claiming they had been harassed or assaulted by the Texans quarterback.
The allegations ranged from a woman who claims Watson tried to force the quarterback to make her kiss and another that claims the quarterback attempted to sexually assault her on two separate occasions, after they had a meeting in an office. In the wake of these suits Buzbee asked to the Houston police department, and the Harris County District Attorney's office to investigate these allegations made against Watson, potentially seeking criminal charges in addition to the civil cases filed.
